Our client is a leading automotive supplier based in Warwick that enjoys an enviable reputation for its expertise. They are now looking to recruit a Western Europe Marketing Manager with a background in the automotive aftermarket sector, to join their marketing team. This is an exciting Multi-Channel role responsible for developing and executing market and customer-focused marketing strategies to drive increased brand awareness, recognition & loyalty, customer engagement, and profitable growth. Key responsibilities:
- Management of team members across a matrix structure
- Responsible for reviewing and creating processes
- Responsible for management of budget
- Have a clear understanding of the market & competitive landscape, and utilise findings to define clear and actionable insights to support marketing strategy development and execution
- Implementation of EMEA regional programs, and country-level engagement initiatives, to increase top-of-mind awareness and brand recognition at both distribution and workshop levels of the market
- Develop and implement activities to increase long-term customer loyalty to the brand
- Share and implement best practice activities between Western European countries to increase synergies and efficiency
- Partner with Western Europe region commercial teams and customers to identify growth opportunities, effectively communicate the value proposition, launch new products, and ensure customer shelf-space wins
- Develop and execute country communications plans across multiple channels within pre-defined budgets aligned with EMEA communications strategy including media engagement, advertising, shows and events management, and email marketing
- Define and own the Western Europe price position based on market data & EMEA price strategy
- Build and lead a winning team, focused on high value-add marketing activities, KPI-driven performance, team spirit, and a commitment to make a difference
Key skills & Experience:
- Degree in Marketing and/or Business
- Experienced in a marketing role (category marketing/product marketing/trade marketing), preferably in the Automotive Industry
- Previous exposure to, and understanding of, the usage of key economic indicators, financial drivers & business metrics to generate strategies and produce positive results
- Experience working in a marketing environment in a multi-country role
- Demonstrable experience in turning trends, data and insights into marketing strategies and tactics to address market and customer needs
- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of marketing across multiple channels, and how each channel can be most effectively utilised to deliver overall success
- Have keen problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on complex challenges, and see through to resolution
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel Nationally and internationally
Additional Information:
- Hybrid working, 2 days a week in the office
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- A valid passport, driving license and be flexible to travel when required
