Job Title:
Private/Group Guitar teacher
Reports to: Miralles Music Academy - Studio director
Job Description:
The role of the guitar teacher is to provide guitar lessons to students that fit the values of Miralles Music.
Guitar lessons that speak to the student and brings them a sense of joy, to come to lessons each week.
There is a specific teaching format that the guitar classes follow, which is outlined in the training documents. The goal of these training documents is to make it as easy as possible, for the teacher to focus on doing the best job they can, to teach inspiring guitar lessons to children and teens.
Job Tasks:
Plan each class in advance of it being taught. Including sourcing games, materials and music for individual students
- Teach scheduled piano classes
- Set up 30min before each class and pack up 30min after Write lesson notes for each class, within 2 days of that class being taught and email via My Music Staff
- Occasionally film student progress & share it to the studio director via Google Drive

> 85% retention rate (month to month)
Evidence of student progression (e.g. Passing books, learning new music, performing, reaching student-specific goals)
Showing up 20 minutes early and starting/ending classes on time

Follow the lesson plans and prepare in advance, so they can offer guitar lessons that exceed the expectations of the students

Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: $19.50-$25.00 per hour
