Job Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive shopper activation strategies to increase brand awareness, drive product trials, and enhance customer loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align shopper activation initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior and trends to identify opportunities for effective shopper activation programs.
- Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns and promotions to engage shoppers and drive conversion.
- Develop and manage relationships with key retail partners, negotiating co-marketing opportunities and optimizing in-store activations.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of shopper activation programs, make data-driven decisions, and continuously improve ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in shopper marketing and activation, and provide recommendations for innovative strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of shopper activation specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or related roles within the consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful shopper activation strategies that drive sales growth and customer engagement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a team.
- Proficient in utilizing data analytics tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
