Overview of the Role
Toluna is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager with proven experience for a 3–4-month maternity cover in North America, executing country marketing plans across both the Toluna and GutCheck brands. Although the key activities for 2H 2023 are already defined, this person will have a key role to play in successfully executing a busy virtual and in-person events strategy, as well as contributing to content preparation and execution to support various marketing campaigns for both brands. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing, starting early August 2023.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day event marketing activities and logistics to meet objectives and KPIs.
- Coordinate closely with key event stakeholders (Sales, Creative, Solutions) to ensure seamless execution.
- Closely monitor and track event deliverables, providing reports to Sr. Director of Marketing.
- Help develop short- and long-form content to support a range of product and thought-leadership initiatives.
- Implement email and social campaigns around already defined and new plans, in relation to events, webinars, and product campaigns.
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar fast-paced role, ideally in a market research agency, events company, or a similar marketing services environment.
- Ability to implement and manage coordinated marketing campaigns.
- Experience coordinating and managing event presence with strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience creating marketing lead generation content that converts – infographics, whitepapers etc.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience of digital/online marketing tools and approaches
- Proficient in relevant MS Office applications, CRM and Digital/Social marketing tools
Required Skills
- Strong copywriting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Hands-on experience using a marketing CRM to launch email campaigns – ideally Marketo
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline (advertising, media, brand, communications or business development)
- Strong organizational skills, able to set and adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple competing deadlines – working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
