We are looking for a Head of Marketing to join the amazing team at Merlin Blackpool.

We are looking for a super talented Head of Marketing to join our outstanding Senior Leadership Team to develop, lead and execute an ambitious resort marketing strategy for our amazing mix of attractions.

What we are looking for
- An inspiring leader, with excellent stakeholder management skills and a background of achievement in marketing world class entertainment or leisure venues
- Someone with demonstrable experience of developing and implementing marketing strategy for a high-performing, multi-channel business
- Someone who continuously strives to improve customer experience
- Someone commercially astute with strong experience of managing a significant budget, using data to inform strategy and decisions and a proven ability to deliver commercial results
- Proven experience in meeting performance indicators and driving revenue.
- Someone people focused, with a genuine love of fun and making magical memories for our guests
This is a pivotal, senior role, developing and delivering ambitious marketing plans that will drive visitation and revenue to all attractions, ultimately achieving budgeted profit and customer satisfaction in line with our brand values and business strategy.
As part of the senior leadership team for our Blackpool ‘Cluster’ of attractions, you’ll play a key role in shaping and steering our business plan and developing and driving the long-term strategies. You’ll get stuck into the full marketing mix, including new product development and pricing and will manage multiple channels, focussing on digital along with consumer, trade, schools, promotions and events.
You’ll also be a key player when it comes to the Resort, leading the Destination Marketing campaign for Blackpool working with the Head of Visitor Economy and other key resort partners.
This role is full time, permanent, working predominantly Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required for marketing activities outside of office working hours.
