The Role
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Networking Solutions to drive the creation and delivery of unique market positioning and sales enablement for our network portfolio of solutions including IP connectivity networkasaservice optical fiber solutionsThe ideal candidate will have a passion for technology a lifelong approach to learning and a collaborative nature that works crossfunctionally to identify and develop valuable customer outcome messaging from highly technical inputs
The Product Marketing Manager for Networking Solutions is expected to be the technical subject matter expert for their portfolio of offerings understanding and monitoring the changing market and audience landscape for WAN solutions including fiber wireless SDN NFV and other overthetop OTT networking servicesThe candidate will leverage their understanding of the customer market and product portfolio to craft unique gotomarket messaging produce sales training collaterals and create customerfacing marketing materials for use during the Learn portion of the customer journey
This is a highly visible role across the organization that will require collaboration with crossfunctional teams including Product Development Product Management Marketing Strategy Campaign and Program Management Corporate Communications Content Storytelling Creative Teams Sales Enablement and Training Field Marketing and Analyst Relations
To meet these requirements the candidate must have an expert level understanding of network technology including dedicated internet access DIA wavelengths ethernet VPN and networkasaservice Additionally ideal candidates will be familiar with messaging the value of networking solutions to multiple personas from the Csuite to network managers and administrators and other IT decision makers working for midmarket and large enterprise customers
The Product Marketing Manager for Networking Solutions works independently and therefore must be selfmotivated This role is a workfromhome position the successful candidate should have the ability to deliver results with a minimum of supervision
The Main Responsibilities
- Translates highly technical information into succinct customer outcome messaging to develop value propositions, differentiators, messaging, proof points, and claims.
- Creates the assets and marketing materials to be used in the sales enablement activation processes.
- Writes and designs marketing content for their product portfolio, including customer presentations, data sheets, brochures, case studies, customer presentations, website technical content and blogs.
- Cross-functionally collaborates with other Lumen marketing teams to develop high-value content such as infographics, demo videos, webinars, industry analyst research and third-party white papers.
- Supports Marketing Campaigns with by being the marketing SME for your product portfolio and supporting campaign objectives by creating technical marketing assets that help to drive results that exceed campaign objectives.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelors degree in business engineering or marketing
- Experience in a product marketing sales enablement product management or related role in the Technology fieldmarket
- A deep understanding of network and IT solutions and the competitive space within them
- Ability to crossfunctionally collaborate across a vast Marketing ecosystem working in tandem to develop materials and tools that meet corporate and campaign objectives while also educating and supporting the customer throughout the Learn portion of the buying journey
- Advanced communication and listening skills to interact with and work with a wide range of people and functions within the marketing ecosystem including database IT product channel advertising and analyst relations
- Direct B2B marketing experience with solid knowledge of marketing tactics
- Ability to listen to market indicators campaign performance outcomes and customer feedback to pivot messaging on a regular cadence to enable agile marketing initiatives Experience in applying agile methodology to marketing processes would be beneficial but not required
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts Passion to evangelize disruptive new technologies
- Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work
- Comfortable accepting responsibility for projects involving multiple resources that may span months from start to finish
- The ability to write compelling marketing copy targeting identified business personas is a plus for the candidate seeking this position

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
