Who we are looking for -
Highly developed project management skills, knowledge, and experience of key marketing principles.
Knowledge of the UK fundraising and marketing using CRM systems, including the compliance, regulatory and legal requirements relating to direct marketing UK fundraising
The role –
To ensure RNIB’s cause-led Individual Giving programme delivers on optimised customer experience and income generation outcomes. The role will be responsible for achieving agreed income and phased supporter volume targets from individual donors through direct marketing retention activity. This covers Direct Mail, Telemarketing, E-commerce, Digital and any other relevant channel across RNIB and any other associate charities as appropriate.
The role will work collaboratively with other Individual Giving Managers and Managers from across the Directorate to develop the contact strategies for retention channels within core audiences on the Action for Blind People and RNIB brands.
Managing expenditure budgets of up to £2M per annum; the role will work closely with the Head of Individual Giving and other Individual Giving Managers to develop business cases for further investment, all designed to build future Individual Giving Retention gross income beyond £19M per annum.
The Team -
The Individual Giving team is a multi-award winning Fundraising Team, working within the leading sight loss charity in the UK. The team directly works towards achieving the new Income and Engagement Fundraising Strategy, ACT Now. Which will see RNIB Accelerate our income growth, Connect more with our customers.
Together with the rest of the organisation, all pulling towards our organisational purpose. The Individual Giving team are a key deliverer of this ACT Now Strategy with a large, dynamic, multi-channel, innovative portfolio of fundraising activity.
The funds raised through the Individual Giving team’s fundraising activity will get rid of this gap and ultimately drive change so that the public, including decision- makers across society, alter behaviours so they automatically include blind and partially sighted people.
