Marketing Manager (full time, permanent) UK & ROI (Showroom in Soho, London) Timberland are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as a Marketing Manager covering the UK and ROI within our EMEA marketing team. As our Marketing Manager, you will be a high energy marketer who brings innovative ideas to the table, demonstrates ability to connect marketing strategies to business goals and fully embraces our purpose and brand philosophy. How You Will Make a Difference Our ideal candidate will be someone that is consumer focused and have the responsibility to lead and develop 360' marketing campaigns based on EU strategy and creative execution to drive brand demand (connect, engage, inspire). In this role you will: Understand the brand strategy and direction whilst integrating the digital led media plan accordingly Build a seasonal local GTM plan (incl. detailed marketing) for wholesale and DTC, with a clear focus on mega cities (e.g. London) Support EMEA Marketing team to create a media planning brief (highly focused on digital) that will be submitted to the central media buying agency Support the development at EMEA level, of strong purpose led brand activations, with inclusivity and diversity as key values, thinking omni-channel, and execute it in a most effective way for the marketplace Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media. Plan and budget for PR events, programs and initiatives that increase the quantity and quality of brand placements Build and develop long term key relationships with key titles and key authenticators Build sustainable trade relationships with top accounts to ensure that Timberland is top-of-mind with key retailers Align the marketing initiatives for franchising stores to the retail ones, having one strong mono-brand proposition and fostering an omni-channel approach Manage local budget on an on-going basis, to ensure that all activities are cost-effective and within budget. Skills for Success A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing (or related fields) are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements. That's why: You will have experience as a marketing manager or similar senior marketing role within a fashion, lifestyle, major sports/outdoor brand. You will have deep marketing knowledge, with a strong sensitivity to the digital media area (paid social media, brand digital activities and others digital platforms) You will also have a good understanding of outdoor, fashion/footwear industry and values. You will have some understanding of formulating strategic plans and monitoring performance You will be analytical and strategic, with the ability to see the strength of using facts for decisions You will be a team player, leader and communicator who knows how to build and maintain relationships You will be a high energy, goal oriented and driven individual who is great at getting things done! The ideal candidate will be based in or around London, with a great understanding of the city. VF operates a hybrid working policy and there will be some work out of our showroom in London as well as some travel for business needs.
