Marketing & Communications Manager

Job Description

With consistent growth of the business, we are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager who will thrive in taking ownership for and delivering a broad spectrum of activities.

Were looking for someone who combines creative flair with a focus on consistent delivery. Thats not always an easy blend to find, but is this you?

The role would suit a self-starter with 5+ years of general B2B marketing and communications experience, keen to make their mark by establishing the firm as a best-in-class professional services brand.

You could be on the way up and ambitious to grow further. Equally you might be an experienced practitioner returning to work.

Crucially, you will understand how marketing improves the customer journey and be passionate/relentless about shaping every touchpoint on that journey, ultimately to drive more awareness, engagement, and sales.

This role will require you to be competent across a broad marketing and communications mix, together with strong organisational skills and a tenacity to ensure the plan that you will own is delivered.

This role reports to Embracents New Business & Marketing Director.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years experience of marketing and communications.
  • Experience of B2B; ideally within a professional services or a services/solution-based industry.
  • Able to demonstrate previous successful ownership of a broad marketing and comms brief, or ability to step up into management of the same.
  • Can execute and measure plans from both a qualitative and quantitative standpoint to achieve overarching goals.
  • Solid project management skills, able to get the best from senior internal colleagues and external agencies.
  • Some experience of effectively managing and developing people.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining a compelling and identifiable brand identity.
  • Strong business writing and editing skills; management of thought leadership, content, and sales collateral.
  • Analytical ability to take a data-led approach to CRM, segmentation and targeting.
  • Passion for understanding and embedding current and future marketing-tech to enable more effective ways of working and engagement.

Applicants must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom without the need for visa sponsorship.
