We're recruiting a Customer Marketing Manager to have responsibility for the design and execution of segmented customer communications. This role aims to increase customer volume, engagement, and revenue, in line with targets, through the effective management of the complete customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design and execution of Customer Marketing (CRM) campaigns aimed at successfully onboarding new customers, unlocking customer value, and improving engagement.
- Embed an ‘always-on’ approach to test-measure-learn, to continuously optimise customer and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with our data teams, to enable an efficient and automated approach to segment-based customer communications, across a range of channels including e-mail, website, app and social
- Create and communicate clear, tight briefs for internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively manage and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure activity is delivered on time and in budget.
- Day-to day management of our Refer-a-Friend suppliers.
- Continuously updating and reviewing the customer dashboard to monitor and report how activity is performing against key metrics
- Ensure agreed standards of Consumer Duty (and other regulatory initiatives) are embedded into the team’s communications and processes
- Ongoing monitoring of competitor communications for benchmarking purposes
- Lead, inspire and manage a team of two: Senior Marketing Executive and a Senior CRM Exec.
About you:
Essential
- Marketing experience (+5 years) – We are looking for someone with extensive experience of leading on marketing campaigns (such as onboarding, cross-selling and upselling) to an engaged, active audience base.
- CRM Platform Experience - We do require some experience of working with CRM platforms (i.e., Salesforce, Adobe, Bloomreach)
- Strategic thinker – Someone who can see the bigger picture and able to articulate their ideas clearly and succinctly to a range of stakeholders.
- Commercial and data driven – Comfortable at analysing and interpreting large data sets to make informed commercial decisions
- Strong communicator – Clear, effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focused – Insight and evidence-based approach to identify and meet customer needs
- Team player – Able to lead a team, but also able to cultivate outstanding relationships across the business
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail - Able to balance multiple projects and deliver them on time, to a high standard.
Preferred
- Marketing or business-related qualifications (i.e., Degree in related field, CIM or other relevant marketing or professional qualifications)
- Line management experience
- Experience with testing frameworks (A/B tests)
- Experience of working in / with Financial Services industry
- Advanced Excel skills
