Marketing Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing professional to join the team, design and deliver our marketing strategy for two shopping centres based in the North West of England.
Based in Preston, but with the ability to travel to a nearby centre in Hyde as needed, you’ll be driving the creative marketing campaigns using customer and market insights and content creation. Leading on the brand and marketing for the centres, ensuring campaigns coincide with our tenant’s and shopper’s needs, helping generate visibility amongst our existing and potential customer base.
As an ambassador for the Centres’ this role will require you to be based in the area and present on each site to build strong relationships with local organisations and industry bodies, networking and reputation building will be key.
This role will involve working with the centre management team, the managing agent and the Landlord. Travel will be requirement to the neighbouring town of Hyde to assist with marketing, promotion and community integration of a second location in that area.
Whilst you will have support from the rest of the team you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing from event planning to strategy, so this role offers huge variety.

A Bit about You
· You’ll be a creative and experienced Marketer, with experience across a broad range of channels including digital, print and direct marketing.
· You will be a people person who loves making connections and meeting new people.
· Ideally, you’ll come from a retail, hospitality or leisure background – but if you think this role is for you and come from a different industry we’d love to hear from you!
· The ability to analyse and interpret trends, manage budgets and measure the cost/benefits of your activities is a must.
Key Job Tasks:
· Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities within the centres
· Work with the Centre Managers to advertise and promote the Centres within the local and wider community.
· Manage all social media outlets for the Centres.
· Maintain the centre websites, keeping the information up to date and current with each Centre’s activities.
· Prepare and organise marketing activities and events and attend meetings as required.
· Ensure that all agreed activities are carried out within agreed budgets
· To be aware of commercial and marketing opportunities and to promote the centre in a positive fashion.
· Responsible for the implementation of each Centre’s marketing strategy to support the Centre’s and Tenants objectives.
· Meet with store managers in order to understand feedback with regards to events and promotional activities and how this impacted store performance
· Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future projects.
· Assist Centre Manager in preparation of monthly management reports including PR reports and a marketing update.
· Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
· Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing projects
· Build relationships with local media
· Building relationships with key city partners and local authorities
· Expand and develop marketing platforms
· Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
· Any other duties commensurate with the role of Marketing Manager
· Full driving licence essential for this role.
