Fixed-Term for 12 months
HOURS: 37 per week Monday to Friday, to include occasional evening working and Saturdays, as required.
SALARY GRADE: £24,054 - £25,406 (SCP 11-14)
Penlee House is a much-loved Gallery & Museum in Penzance, owned and operated by Penzance Council. We are looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant (fixed-term for 12 months) to assist with the delivery of the marketing, PR, and communications for Penlee House Gallery & Museum. As the Marketing Assistant, you’ll work across all digital platforms, with a focus on extending reach and engagement, increasing footfall, and attracting a wider range of visitors to site. You’ll assist with:
- digital marketing (social media, website, email marketing)
- print production and distribution
- communications and PR • online and offline advertising
- management of ticket booking systems
- direct mail campaigns and audience research
This post is partly funded by the Friends of Penlee House Gallery & Museum and the postholder will spend the equivalent of one day per week on marketing activities for the Friends. You will also work closely with the Curator/Deputy Director, the council’s Communications Officer, and all teams based at Penlee House.
