Location: Redbridge Central Library IG1 1EQ and Hainault Forest IG7 4QN
Salary: £23,505 (pro rata) per annum.
Type: Full Time – 12-month Fixed Term contract, possible extension.

Opening to the public this spring after a year of work the scenic views of Hainault Forest, our newly restored venue comprising of a Café, Events space, Farm and other public areas. The venue opens alongside our already established, the boat house at Fairlop Water Venue which is the central hub for all that visit our stunning nature country park.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual will have previous experience in building and developing engagement on social media, including planning content across multiple platforms. You will need a sense of creative flair to develop new promotional offers, events and all marketing materials for our venues. With an ability to write creative, cutting & inspirational news/blog articles and web pages. This is a unique opportunity with a 60/40 spilt across two sites including our Head Office at Redbridge Central Library and Hainault Forest.
Experience of managing marketing for similar venues and offers would be an advantage but is not essential.
Job requirements:
- Increasing engagement on social media and planning content across multiple platforms. Developing, maintaining and maximising the use of social media to promote public awareness of Vision’s services, events and facilities whilst adhering to corporate branding and sub branding.
- Developing new events, offers and packages with the Events Coordinator including (Children’s birthday parties packages, sponsoring animals, experience packages on farm, Children’s holiday activities, etc)
- Assisting in compiling and publishing events and activities on the Vision website and the publicity leading up to events
- Lead on the creation and management of online newsletters using MailChimp
- Extensive knowledge of video editing for capturing projects on film
- Design publicity materials including leaflets, posters, banners, menus, social media assets etc
- Developing promotional and advertising campaigns tailored to Vision’s corporate and service needs
