Role Description

We are looking for a bright and innovative graduate to join our marketing team. This is an entry-level role for someone interested in starting their marketing career and will provide an amazing opportunity to have exposure to a busy marketing team working for one of the most successful companies in the UK travel industry.

The role will involve providing administrative and marketing support across various audiences to deliver a challenging agenda of marketing activity and written and visual content. The successful candidate will work alongside members of the wider marketing & design team, as well as commercial, recruitment, corporate and comms teams in the UK, and co-ordinate with our overseas offices.

Principle Accountabilities

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Write, build and deliver email marketing to both customers and Travel Counsellors
  • Write website content including blogs and hotel offers and publish via website CMS
  • Build and test dedicated landing pages to support various marketing campaigns
  • Collate stats from various platforms to report weekly on marketing campaign performance
  • Collate and supply results of marketing campaigns to supplier partners to include summaries and proof of completed marketing activity
  • Keep the marketing calendar up to date with
  • Liaise with Travel Counsellors and customers to gather stories and testimonials for use in our marketing campaigns
  • Schedule and post on social media platforms
  • Support the marketing team with slides for TCTV (in-house TV studio) broadcasts
  • Join marketing team meetings and represent the marketing team as required
  • Manage the marketing helpdesk and offer support, advice and fast resolutions to Travel Counsellor queries
  • Admin duties as required to support the smooth, successful delivery and reporting of marketing campaigns and initiatives for customers, potential franchisees, corporate travel clients, Travel Counsellors and colleagues
  • Content and Digital Asset management:
    • Gain supplier approvals for Phenix (our in-house booking tool) content
    • Gain supplier input and approvals for marketing campaign content
    • Coordinate an audit and update of our product marketing image library
    • Create a database of supplier image libraries and logins
    • Select and resize images
    • Gain Travel Counsellor and customer stories and testimonials for use in our marketing campaigns

Key Capabilities

  • Copywriting - Copywriting to an excellent standard and to the correct branded tone of voice
  • Organisational Skills - Proficient in MS Office, capable of tracking project progress autonomously
  • Digitally Savvy - Comfortable using technology, including email broadcast tools, website CMS, CRM and social media platforms - training will be provided
  • Creative Eye - Image selection and supporting campaign development will form part of the role - training will be provided
