Job description
An international banking institution in central London is looking for an Administration & Planning Officer for the Credit Business Co-Ordination department (front office). The main responsibilities of this role will be to assist credit business related administrative issues, such as Credit Committee coordination and related roles, handling credit applications reviews, and LIBOR transition project progress reports creation. You will also take on Credit Portfolio Monitoring & Administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Credit Administration
· To assist credit business related administrative issues, such as Credit Committee coordination and related roles, handling credit applications reviews, LIBOR transition project progress reports creation etc.
· To check the credit applications as one of the CBCD reviewers and communicate with the front office when necessary for correction/amendment.
· When Credit Committee is applicable for a credit application, to arrange and coordinate London Branch Credit Committee, to act as MC and follow up the minute’s circulation afterward.
· To create the LIBOR transition client communication progress report biweekly and attend the LIBOR client communication sub-committee meeting.
· To carry out such other duties as requested by the General Managers, and the Head of Department.
-Credit Portfolio Monitoring & Administration
· To assist in the establishment and maintenance of the database used for portfolio management, asset management, risk management, performance monitoring and forecast and other planning matters related to the credit business.
· To handle credit ratings management and monitoring through close communication with front offices in GBU, relevant departments in EMEA Division and Head Office.
· To assist in monitoring and figure management of the Branch’s credit business performance, e.g. actual movement and forecast of assets and incomes/credit costs, as well as of the Branch’s static credit portfolios, through use of portfolio management techniques.
· To provide assistance in reporting the Branch’s credit business performance, forecast and credit quality indicators to Head Office and Senior Management in a timely manner.
· To compile relevant information and make the monitoring report for the Sub-Portfolio Guideline/Limit or monitoring points on each creditee set by Head Office.
· To assist with the design, testing and implementation of frameworks and systems for portfolio/risk management, asset management, performance monitoring, and business planning.
· To provide support to the Head of Department in reporting portfolio/risk management and profit performance and asset management business performance to the Deputy General Manager/Joint General manager/General Manager and/or to Tokyo Head Office.
· To assist across the credit front area in the creation of documentation on credit analysis relating to each borrower and obligor through checking required documents.
· To provide support to the Head of Department in establishing loan agent function within the department and execute its operations through close communication with front offices in GBU once it has been established.
· To carry out such other duties as requested by the General Managers, and the Head of Department.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· ‘A’ level qualification preferred.
· Good PC skills, particularly with MS-Access and MS-Excel.
· A strong aptitude for statistics, coupled with at least two years’ experience in the financial sector, credit rating monitoring.
