Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting the day-to-day running of TFG’s publishing activities (thought leadership and written content, podcasts, videos, magazine, webinars, artwork) creating captivating content across multiple channels (website, social media, email, in-app, print)
- Working closely with the TFG CMS team (Wordpress) - to support publishing activity, as well as freelancers, designers, video editors and podcasters
- Using SEO best practices to drive traffic and deliver high value campaigns
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing and editorial team, such as organising webinars, conducting video interviews and recording podcasts
- Implement (and help conceive) high-growth marketing strategies and the future content schedule, such as generating ideas for campaigns, interviews and videos to grow the audience of TFG
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
- Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and emerging new technologies
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- A growth mindset, passionate about channel marketing and social media
- Excellent writing and communication skills, as well as attention to detail
- Highly organised with a demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines
- A team player, with a drive to succeed and apply new skills
- Strategic and creative thinker with experience designing digital content
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing related to content
- Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A demonstrable interest in economics/trade and curious to learn more
Desirable:
- Undergraduate university degree and/or experience in Marketing & Communications, Economics, International Relations or a related field
- Experience in campaign management, online channel marketing and social media
- Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Work Environment & Company Culture
The role is based at TFG’s London office, in Farringdon, with the option to work remotely 1 day a week.
