About the role

The Dune Group is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and hardworking Marketing Assistant to join its busy global marketing team. An established fashion brand with thirty years in the industry, this is an exciting and dynamic role spanning all areas of marketing comms. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience across a broad remit, supporting the team on campaign planning, digital marketing and CRM, retail marketing and more.


About you

What we need from you:

  • Support the marketing team to coordinate marketing communications that is produced for our UK stores, website and email marketing, working closely with all members (but particularly the Senior Marketing Exec and Social Media team) to bring projects to life
  • Assist in the upkeep and circulation of Marketing Calendars to ensure business wide understanding and alignment
  • Assist in the briefing and delivery of homepage and email briefs including working closely with buying and ecomme teams to check product availability
  • Work with the broader comms team to manage ad hoc briefs as required
  • Assist in the creation and management of store communications to brief our retail teams on marketing activity
  • Support the Marketing Comms team with regular briefing of instore and digital assets
  • Monitor our activity and that of competitors throughout the year to support reporting and analysis
  • Support in the delivery of in house photoshoots to generate content to support trade. This includes everything from managing samples to ad hoc support on the day
  • Assist in the successful running of instore events and activations – these span everything from store openings to anniversaries or pop-up events. Help analyse their success through reporting
  • Form good relationships with our Buying and Merchandising teams and support the Marketing Comms team to ensure all product information is relevant and up to date
  • Produce regular competitor reports and hold comp shops so that we can keep track of what’s happening in the industry
  • Provide essential administrative support to the wider team – including the creation of presentations, documents for shoots or reports
  • Review and support the Social media team as the build our engagement on our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook platforms
  • Monitor competitor social media activity and report back to the marketing team on your findings.
  • Assist in the management of our Pinterest channel, creating pins and boards.
  • Assist the social media team in ensuring all content assets are uploaded to our central platform enabling our International partners to access the content.

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Graduate caliber with a proven interest in marketing, retail and fashion
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work across a number of projects at any one time
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work cross-functionally and with external suppliers at all levels
  • Good writing skills, use of language and grammar
  • A creative thinker with lots of ideas
