About the job:

First 30 days:

  • Get trained on The Clean Space sales model and processes
  • Product and industry training
  • Shadow fellow marketing team members
  • Take responsibility of marketing teams emails, dealing with enquiries.

First 60 days:

  • Be proficient in actively qualifying and disqualifying leads and conversions of leads to deals pipeline
  • Begin to build social media marketing plan
  • Strengthen your product and industry knowledge through 1-to1’s
  • Understand how to recognise and uncover larger opportunities

First 90 days:

  • Have a great understanding of The Clean Space sales model
  • Content Creation for the social media plan
  • Start developing a wider plan for email marketing

This role will be home-based, but travel will be required to the London office.

Location: Home working but with periodic office training and regular team meetings in London

Package: £25,000

Main Objective of The Role: To recruit a marketing assistant to support the marketing team in building and implementing marketing strategy.

Specific Duties:

As a Marketing Assistant at The Clean Space, your duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling and engaging content for various channels, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and website updates. This involves writing, editing, and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and consistency.

2. Digital Marketing: Assist in managing digital marketing campaigns, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and email marketing. This includes monitoring campaign performance, conducting keyword research, optimizing ad copy, and analysing campaign metrics.

3. Social Media Management: Monitor and maintain our social media platforms, creating and scheduling content, engaging with our online community, and responding to comments and messages. You will also track social media metrics, analyse performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.

4. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential target audiences for our services. This includes gathering data, analysing consumer behaviour, and providing insights to support marketing strategies and decision-making.

5. Collateral Development: Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional items. This may involve working with graphic designers or using design software to develop visually appealing and impactful materials.

6. Campaign Coordination: Support the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, including events, webinars, and product launches. This involves liaising with internal teams, external vendors, and coordinating logistics to ensure campaigns are executed smoothly and on schedule.

7. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing files and documents, and handling correspondence. You may also assist with budget tracking and invoice processing.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in marketing, advertising, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content creation. (MailChimp, Canva, SEMRush).

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.

Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.

Passion for sustainability and environmental awareness is highly valued.

Excellent customer service skills with B2B customers.

Work well in a team but also capable of working alone to deliver.
