CORD by Le Cordon Bleu is the first fine dining restaurant in London by the famed culinary arts institute. CORD is an all-in-one concept that also incorporates a café, cooking school and a culinary event space.

Key responsibilities:
Communication & Copywriting
· Write, produce and deliver a wide range of high quality, effective and engaging internal and external communications:
o Develop creative content for both print and web including the website, social media, newsletter and other digital channels.
o Develop technical documents and communication briefings for the team, press releases and other written content and ensure it is effective for the intended audience.
o Write and proofread variety of marketing and sales collaterals
· Make sure that all promotional and marketing materials meet the company’s brand guidelines
· Respond daily to press enquiries
· Monitor the company’s social media, responding to enquiries.
· Drive campaigns including adverts, advertorials and editorial partnerships with key medias (print or digital)
· Support planning and development of video content in coordination with the Marketing team
· Proactively seeks new and innovative ways to communicate with the targeted audiences
· Keep current with the news in the F&B sector to create communication opportunities and research possible communication channels
· Propose and implement Yearly Communication Calendar
· Keep current with online trends and research possible online communication channels
Networking & PR relations
· Develop relationships with journalists, influencers and other media contacts
o Emailing, calling press as follow ups on press releases, invitation to events or experiencing Cord.
o Getting contra-deals on editorial coverage through print/digital publication incl. social media.
Events
- Organise and coordinate press events, media invitations to targeted events
- Assist the sales and marketing team with major events internally or externally
Reports
- Monitor press coverage and online presence, compile Media report
- Report and measure on the effectiveness of communication strategies key
The ideal candidate is expected to have the following general qualities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient proof-reading abilities
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
- Hands-on experience with web applications and social media
· Solid understanding of online marketing, email marketing and content management systems
- To be able to prioritise effectively, manage one’s own workload, comprising of various deadlines
- To work as part of a small team, taking ownership of its tasks
