About the Marketing Team:
The firm has grown substantially over recent years, organically and via acquisition, and the BD & Marketing team continues to grow to support the firm’s ambitious plans. This is a very exciting time to be joining a dynamic team.
The quantity and nature of the work undertaken by the team has increased and changed significantly over the last 5 years, delivering integrated marketing campaigns and engaging online content faster and more regularly, and analysing data to inform future marketing and BD activity.
About the role:
The Marketing Assistant will support the BD & Marketing team in their roles, implementing marketing and business development activity for all departments.
The role will be based out of our London Bridge office, but the successful candidate will be required to make some trips to our Streatham office where some fee earners are located.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the Digital Marketing Manager to maintain an effective flow of website content.
- Upload content to the website, including new joiners, blogs, articles, videos, and podcasts etc.
- Manage website pages, making changes to layout as required.
- Adhere to SEO guidelines and best practices.
- Monitor and reply to blog comments and forward to authors.
- Day-to-day management of the social media accounts for the firm: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- Organise photography and video production days.
- Production of AgMag, the firm’s monthly, online staff newsletter.
- Update and develop the marketing pages of the intranet.
- Assist the Design & Events Executive in the development of marketing campaigns.
- Create and submit Ads to publishers.
- Populate and maintain the marketing calendars e.g. Events (Internal and External), Content calendar etc.
- Make venue and room bookings, organise catering etc.
- Put together seminar packs, badges etc. and assist with the running of events on the day.
- Assist the Systems & Data Executive with data entry and cleansing and improving new enquiry reporting.
- Compile Google Analytics reports and blog stats.
- Reply to Trustpilot reviews and compile monthly reports.
- Produce social media and campaign measurement reports.
- Collate new work sources by department, monthly.
- Produce monthly stats report for Operations Board.
- Conduct competitor research.
- Order of branded promotional items.
- Keep shared drives tidy.
- Manage invoices and maintain the budget tracker.
- Depending on experience and the needs of the department, there will be opportunities to work on defined projects and to take on responsibility for these.
Person Specification:
- Good level of education, with a desire to start a marketing career.
- Effective team player.
- Organised and with good attention to detail.
- Prepared to work different hours on occasions to support business events.
- Good IT skills, experience of design software an advantage.
- Working knowledge of WordPress an advantage but not essential.
- Hunger and willingness to learn.
- Experience of working in a professional services environment an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
