Job description
AJ Bell is looking for a highly motivated, skilled and ambitious Marketing Assistant to join our brilliant in-house Marketing Team.
Ideally, you will have a background or interest in marketing and will display a keen understanding of key marketing disciplines – including social media, email marketing, advertising, database segmentation, CRM and SEO.
Enthusiastic and eager to learn, you should be happy working closely with all areas of the Marketing Department to raise the profile of our AJ Bell Investcentre (advised platform) and Touch by AJ Bell (new adviser app platform) brands.
What does the job involve?
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Providing support to the existing in-house Marketing Team, which covers Communications, Social, Events, Product, Web.
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials and literature.
- Managing and updating monthly reports.
- Helping to monitor various activities and provide performance reports (where necessary).
- Conducting regular competitor analysis and maintaining knowledge of key marketing trends.
- Updating essential departmental logs.
Qualifications, knowledge, and skills
We would like you to have:
- A degree-level qualification in Marketing or Business.
- Solid experience of using the Microsoft suite.
- Experience with social media platforms – LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A strong desire to develop skill sets within key marketing channels and disciplines.
- Brilliant team-working skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to take the initiative and work independently where necessary.
- Strong attention to detail.
