Job description

Main purpose of the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Apprentice to join to support the Group Marketing function, based from our Doncaster Lakeside Head Office. They will support the function with key activity including general day-to-day marketing administration, market and competitor research, managing agencies and suppliers and updating marketing materials.

The Apprentice will also spend 20% of their work time studying towards the Marketing Assistant Level 3 Qualification.

Some of the key duties of the Apprentice will be;

  • Support the Group Marketing team to develop and implement annual marketing campaigns
  • Assist with the gathering of stories and designing of internal communications including a quarterly newsletter and weekly e-newsletter
  • Act as a brand guardian identifying what both good and bad looks like to ensure brand consistency
  • Develop and organise the group photography portal ensuring imagery is approved and uploaded to the correct categories
  • Maintain the Marketing section of the Keepmoat Homes intranet pages ensuring the latest documents are uploaded
  • Undertaking regular market and competitor research to identify trends
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and respond quickly and efficiently to requests
  • Proof reading of marketing collateral and press releases

Skills, knowledge & experience

We are looking for someone who fits with our core values here at Keepmoat; they will be passionate about marketing in the construction industry and committed to undertaking and completing an Apprenticeship with us. They will be collaborative, friendly and helpful with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies. A creative eye for content is a must, with the ability to produce content for web and social media accurately and with enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will have a straightforward approach, clear use of written English, a professional attitude and good business sense.

Experience in a similar marketing role would be desirable.

Education & qualifications

Essential:

  • A minimum of GCSE or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English

Desirable:

  • A marketing or business qualification and/or apprenticeship
  • A-Levels or NVQs
