The Role – Marketing and Admin Assistant:
The Marketing and Admin Assistant will plan a content calendar for our social media channels and design and execute our social media content. You will be required to send regular marketing emails to our database of customers along with assisting with updating our online content across various platforms. There will be an element of general administrative duties in this role to provide general support to the running of the business.
Responsibilities – Marketing and Admin Assistant:
· Plan and execute our social media content throughout the year.
· Send marketing emails to customers which work alongside our social media campaigns.
· Work closely with the Manager in regard to key advertising campaigns throughout the year.
· Assist with updating and managing product listings across various platforms.
· To provide general administrative support including diary management, arrangement of meetings, maintaining records and filing.
· To undertake a range of IT-based office tasks, including work processing documents, completing spreadsheets, maintaining databases and producing promotional and presentation materials
· To attend meetings, take minutes, circulate documents and follow up action as necessary
· To undertake basic project management activities
· To undertake additional administrative tasks as required
Person Specification – Marketing and Admin Assistant:
· Previous experience in a similar position.
· Ability to communicate clear and professionally at all levels via email, telephone and face to face.
· Previous experience using social media for business
· Strong all round administration skills; attention to detail, efficient, detailed, computer literate etc.
· Excellent work ethic; Punctual, a can do attitude, proactive and constantly learning, not afraid to take responsibility for job duties.
· You are happy to dive in with all parts of the business and help us overcome our challenges.
Qualifications/Skills
· A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
· Office Administration experience - 2 year experience desirable
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
· Marketing and social media experience preferred
· Basic Project delivery skills desirable
· Experience working with Google Analytics is preferred but not required;
· Experience working with Hootsuite is preferred but not required;
· Can edit videos to a high standard.
· Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management and organisation skills
