Job description
Supporting the Director of Communications and Marketing with administration and planning for the team, the role requires the ability to run a busy office, be organised, prioritise work and juggle projects, deadlines, and processes.
You will be used to working in a pacy office environment, having autonomy to deliver results, and to support different activities and outputs required of the marketing, communications and outreach teams.
You will be comfortable in managing data sets, coordinating mailings to support marketing campaigns, and managing the marketing materials orders. You will support events with general administration, booking rooms, catering etc. You will oversee the university’s student ambassadors, planning their support for university wide activities.
As a ‘can do ’and ‘hands on’ person you will enjoy variety and pace and activities. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to minute meetings if required. A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, as well as the ability to learn new skills and systems whilst in post is essential.
