• Working within the Brand Strategy team the successful applicant will work with both customer facing functions, internal functions and the local and group marketing teams to define customer research and insight requirements by identifying the best way to obtain feedback via quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Devise actionable marketing and communication strategies from customer insights working closely with business strategy team to support business strategy input and with the customer journey and experience manager to define key customer journey feedback.
• Bring the customer perspective to marketing decision making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations.
• Identify ideal methodology and provide oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs.
• Manage external agencies for the execution of research projects. Leveraging B2B and B2C research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gain internal support to act upon these opportunities. Identifying customer trends through desk research for both B2B and B2C.
• Present regularly and communicate across the organisation via internal communications analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports to various members of the organisation from Senior management to colleagues.

• A Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
• Previous experience within a similar role with customer research is beneficial.
• An understanding of the customer journey in the heating industry.
• The ability to work with members of the whole organisation across all levels.
• A customer centric understanding with good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategies and decisions with clear knowledge of business visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• You should be familiar with putting together data from multiple sources to tell a story.
