Job Title: Market Development Consultant

Salary: £42,500+ (Depending on Experience)

Location : Larne

Benefits: 25 days annual leave,

12% bonus

Contributory pension scheme- Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 6%

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide technical marketing support for the launch of rental gensets. Activities include creation, according to the NPI program schedule, of:

    • Support materials (e.g., spec sheets, Product News, brochures,)

    • Renders/spin-sets

    • Virtual product tours

    • EP Power Net pages

    • Cat.com product page

    • Launch meeting agenda and execution

  • Supervise workflow for the creation of genset BIM (Building Information Modeling) models. Includes review of monthly work plans, tracking achievement of work vs. plan, inspection of BIM models and resolution of issues between software designers and respective Engineering teams.

  • Manage relationship for web hosting of BIM models. This requires the creation of product listings with proprietary software, upload of BIM models and related marketing collateral and tracking utilization on a monthly basis to determine if changes are required for the listing.

  • Provide direction for the creation of renders for EP products. This involves setting priorities for render production, reaching agreement with supplier for creation dates, monitoring progress and resolving issues, including lack of timely input and changes in priorities.

Skills and Experience:

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

  • Technical understanding of electric power generator sets, solar panels, controls and energy storage

  • Proficiency with MS Office; excellent Excel skills are required to analyse data and complete reports.

  • Experience ensuring people who are not direct reports understand our expectations and the impact of non-delivery.

  • Understanding of the New Product Introduction workflow process to effectively schedule tasks and deliver ahead of key dates.

Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

  • Engineering degree or hands-on electric power experience

  • Experience reaching agreements with business partners to deliver on their commitments in a timely manner and taking remedial action when said commitments are not met.

  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit software or the aptitude to quickly acquires skills.

  • Proven ability to work with PIM, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and HTML for internal and external web pages development.
