Job Summary
- Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications and other department leads across the organisation in the development, execution and evaluation of a comprehensive events strategy to engage referrers, corporates, clinicians, consumers and caregivers.
- London lead for centrally developed educational events, including large-scale conferences for external B2B audience. Venue hire, promotion, faculty management, on the day event management, and where necessary working with U.S. based events team and industry partners on exhibitor opportunities. Liaise with Continuing Medical Education team when CME/CPD accreditation is required.
- Support clinical institute events for B2B audiences, including educational talks, networking and others. Liaising with Institute Chairs and Managers to agree speakers, venue, catering, AV, target audience, faculty management, sign-up/response and on the day event management.
- Support the Strategy and Global Patient Services teams in delivery of events to engage corporate, GP and embassy audiences. These will include networking and educational events and the role will lead on venue hire, catering, promotion and on-site management. (Raya, Corathon to add)
- Work closely with HR team on internal events to support as required. Eg. Xmas party, awards events.
- Liaise with Marketing and Communications colleagues to deliver a full marketing programme for each event, including photography/video if needed, printed/branded collateral, socials, web content, internal comms, external newsletter content.
- Embed and champion use of CRM database to optimise audience engagement and response, to ensure a data driven approach.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to create and manage event project timelines to optimise promotion, response rates and ensure the smooth running of events.
- Liaise with U.S. colleagues as required to ensure transparency of London planning, flagging support when needed.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required or experience that will offset the degree
- Ability to speak and write in English is required.
- Significant event management experience is essential
- Proven experience of running in-person and virtual events for up to 200 guests
- Demonstrable strategic planning and management to ensure smooth delivery of events, working with multiple stakeholders
- Effective relationship building skills are required.
- Previous budget and supplier management experience
- Adaptability and flexibility are important in this role, including ability to work with different time zones and working with other cultures.
