What you’ll need to do

You will be working alongside a team of skilled software developers, building and delivering our cloud-based business integration and insights platform. The platform, used both internally within the business and externally by our diverse client base, Integrates a wide range of digital services across the BECG group. The platform offers a wide range of features including, API data ingestion, aggregation and analytics, insight generation and dashboarding, reporting and notification, AI Data processing, social media Intergrations and much more.

You will be responsible for ensuring output quality of the software platform, working with developers and product team to design comprehensive testing strategies, and carrying out manual and automated testing to ensure that development efforts meet acceptance criteria

  • Participating in the design process, understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
  • Create test plans and strategies to coordinate the testing process and ensure full system coverage.
  • Built test cases for tickets and create representative sample data to ensure accurate test results
  • Build out and execute manual and automated testing to ensure product quality
  • Collaborate with developers to manage the testing process and feedback results
  • Review and improve the testing process on an ongoing basis

What we are looking for

Essential:

  • At least 3 years professional experience as a QA analyst, with focus on web app testing
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience using automated front end testing tools such as Cypress and Cucumber
  • Ability to build and perform all testing disciplines including but not limited to; functional, non-functional, regression, smoke testing, system integration, compatibility, performance, experience and boundary testing
  • Experience of preparation of test deliverables including but not limited to; Test Approach, Test Plans, Test Scripts, Defect reports, Test Summary Reports etc
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong self-organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Ability to estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to accumulate and apply business and domain specific knowledge
  • Experience of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
