Foyle Port is the key marine gateway to the Northwest of Ireland for both commerce and tourism and plays a vital role driving economic activity in the region.
Marine Engineer (Permanent) Ref: ME07/23
The purpose of this role is to maintain all aspects of harbour vessels, with regular servicing of the engines, repair work, breakdowns and fault finding. You will also be an integral part of the tugboat crew.
Successful candidates must be flexible and able to work unsocial hours.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a relevant STCW recognised engineering certificate of competency.
- At least two years relevant experience.
- Hold a Seafarer medical certificate (Eng. 1 or 11) - can be arranged prior to appointment.
- Be able to work in confined spaces.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
