What are we looking for?
Due to significant growth, we now have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to join our award-winning marina (UK Inland Marina of the year 2021/22) and team. The successful individual will work closely with the existing marina team overseeing day-to-day marina operations and will be accountable for the performance of the Marina in all areas.

Main job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· To be responsible for day-to-day operations; to ensure the effective and efficient running of site operations always ensuring excellence in customer service and experience.
· Monthly review meetings with the directors’, reportingon performance and future planning
- In conjunction with the site team, ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly checks are carried out, along with all routine maintenance to ensure the site remains safe, secure, clean, tidy and well landscaped at all times.
- To ensure all legal, HSE and company policies are adhered to.
- To ensure payment is received for all services under the General Conditions of Mooring and to be 100% familiar with them.
- To recruit staff as required ensuing the business is employing customer focused, flexible, smart, and positive individuals.
- To assist with projects that identify and develop new revenue growth streams and best fit products driven by local market conditions.
- To represent the best interests of marina developments at all levels.
- To ensure the efficient running of the marina and campsite.
In addition;
· A manager who has led teams of individuals.
· Have a good understanding ofthe leisure or marine leisure industry. Previous experience a benefit but not essential.
· A positive and personable leader that can prove they have successfully coached other team members and developed them as individuals.
· Be results orientated and keen to make improvements to already established businesses.
Able to provide first class customer service at all times.
· Excellent IT skills
· Must be prepared to work alternate weekends.
