This is an exciting opportunity to join our Credit Risk Team and contribute in providing an exceptional service to our clients.

The Credit Platform Services collateral monitoring analyst supports Lending Solutions (LS), Securities Based Lending (SBL) and Credit Risk Teams in all collateral monitoring related and other ancillary activities, thus contributing to providing an exceptional service to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand your role, hold yourself accountable and understand how your actions impact the entire group
  • Collaborate with the key business partners on credit structure and collateral setup. Identify, investigate and report collateral shortfalls to ensure prompt resolution, in coordination with Lending Solutions and other front office teams
  • Approve various credit transactions in adherence to credit policies
  • Proactively seek efficiency and control opportunities and implement solutions using the most appropriate automation tools. Have a process re-engineering mind set to critically review and question the process to make it more efficient, often within tight deadlines while ensuring all policy requirements are adhered to
  • Ancillary activities - Check the team mailbox for the allocated tasks and respond to queries promptly ensuring no requests are pending over 48 hours. Manage and prioritise the workflow for the day to day activities to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Collaboration - Participate and contribute in team meetings. Follow up on actions allocated to you. Regularly partner with and provide support to colleagues in other locations. This includes Legal partners, Client Service Specialists, Onboarding, Business Management and Projects teams. Deepen relationships with other Credit Platform Services teams. Be a team player for your team, within region and cross region.
  • Controls - Ensure all controls and checks are completed within set deadlines. Help set up and maintain robust procedures and processes. Understand, ensure adherence to JPMorgan policies and regulatory requirements. Understand credit control requirements to ensure that any control requirement is addressed and controls effected including records retention policy. Maintain a proficient controls mind-set, able to question the status quo and identify process efficiencies.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • University graduate with basic/intermediate experience in dealing with client credit documents
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Can use own initiative, self-motivated with ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
  • General market knowledge and knowledge of credit and lending products in European countries is a plus
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Must have a control and risk mitigation mindset

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience within a financial institution is desirable
  • Previous experience in a credit team an advantage
  • Previous experience in building automated solutions an advantage
