Premier Galvanizing are currently looking for a manufacturing supervisor to join our team at our site in Corby.

Premier Galvanizing is part of the Joseph Ash Group, (JAG) providing steel protection across a range of processes including hot dip galvanizing, powder coating, duplex coating, and shot blasting.

Your day to day

• Lead, develop and motivate direct reports to deliver or exceed objectives and KPIs
• Ensure compliance of company, legal and Health and Safety procedures and act on issues as necessary
• Organise resource, delegate tasks and deal with day to day resource issues as necessary so the site runs smoothly and service requirements are met.
• Collate, monitor and analyse KPI and operational data and make adjustments in order to achieve targets.
• Deputise for the manager in their absence, taking accountability for their responsibilities to ensure the operation continues to deliver its targets.
• Working on a rotating shift pattern of days and back shifts from 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm, some night time shifts may be required to suit the business

Skills and Qualifications

• Highly motivated and target driven.
• Have previous supervisory experience gained within a similar environment
• Health and safety qualified
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Have experience of managing targets
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised and flexible.
