We are looking for several talented Production Operatives to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington.
Where you will operate machines and production equipment in accordance with Safety, quality and productivity requirements in a manufacturing environment. The Darlington plant supplies products to customers in over 50 countries and 2022 was a landmark year with the production of the 1.5thmillionth engine. This is a temporary contract working 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday across 3 shift patterns.
- Days - Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 3.30pm, Friday 7.00am – 12.30pm
- Earlies - Monday – Friday 6.00am – 2.00pm
- Night shift –10pm – 6am Sunday -Thursday
Salary is £23,151- £28,250 depending on skills on experience.

- Assemble diesel engines by following standard operating procedures/disciplined methods.
- You will undertake a wide range of repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, carrying, and handling of components
- To work to disciplined methods/standard operations.
- To build a quality product at the desired rate.
- Performs required tasks and seeks out new learning opportunities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- To be able to read and understand written instructions to apply to production.
- Previous assembly experience in a production/factory environment is preferred but not essential.
- Be able to support shift working and overtime
- Prepared to be flexible within the team, shift, and other assembly areas
