About the role:
An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing operator keen to further their career. You will be involved in all Manufacturing activities including equipment sanitation and set up, preparation of product materials (weighing of raw materials and dispensing into machines for granulation, encapsulation and coating etc.) for solid dose pharmaceuticals.
The salary range is £24,000 - £26,000 depending on training requirements.
The weekly shift pattern will be 6am to 2pm and 1:30pm to 9:30pm
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the carrying out the manufacturing processes to produce oral solid dosage forms that are within product specifications and meet all quality standards.
- Machine set up and changeovers for manufacturing operations. This includes following work instructions for equipment set up/ changeovers and following all work standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and making adjustments in accordance with company SOP, as directed.
- Follow escalation protocols and work with maintenance team when troubleshooting fails.
- Responsible for personal, production room and equipment sanitation
- Maintain batch record information, using basic mathematical skills, records preparing accurate and complete information.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) safety regulations and SOPs.
- Work as a team member with other members of the Noumed operations team to meet and/or exceed quality and production goals.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualities:
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions.
- Good computer skills
- Must possess basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others and work in a team-based environment.
- Basic problem-solving capabilities for the purpose of troubleshooting issues in the manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Experience in a similar role (cGMP, batch manufacturing etc.) will have a significant advantage.
