What We Offer:
Full Time 37.5 hours per week – the core working hours will be 10:00am – 4:00pm, covering Monday – Friday and alternative Saturdays and extra cover where needed, a job share would be considered.
Salary £19,312.50 per annum increasing to £19,930.50 after a successful probation
Location:
REST Churchman House, 71 Bethel St, Norwich NR2 1NR - Parking available onsite.
Annual leave entitlement of 26 days pro rata

The Service
We are recruiting a friendly and personable individual with excellent customer service skills. You will be the first point of contact for those accessing the building and be responsible for providing a comprehensive telephone service and front desk support to all internal and external visitors.
In addition, you will provide administrative support to the daytime recovery team, deputy manager and hub manager, assisting with diary management and general administrative and practical office procedures.
You will have an excellent telephone manner and will be proactive in your approach to maintain the smooth running of the REST Churchman House front desk. In addition, you will offer administrative support across the charity.
General Duties of the role include
- Greet and welcome all visitors as soon as they arrive in the hub. Be the first point of contact for all people accessing the building.
- Provide administrative support to the daytime recovery team, deputy manager and hub manager, assisting with diary management and general administrative and practical office procedures.
- Be approachable, have excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
- Maintain the smooth running of the REST Norwich Hub as the first point of contact for those accessing the building.
- Maintain a clear code of conduct and high standards of customer service in terms of dignity, respect and excellent customer services to all people accessing the building.
- Be responsive to all enquires relating to REST Norwich. This will involve telephone calls, emails and face to face. Be confident in directing these to the appropriate person.
- Listening to voicemail messages and ensuring enquiries are directed to the relevant team members. Keeping the voicemail system up to date.
- Be responsive to the “contact us” email inbox and forward enquiries to the relevant person/team within REST Norwich.
- Use electronic systems to input and access information as required.
- Keep up to date with the current programme being offered within REST Norwich.
- Effectively operate a responsive booking system.

Experience of working with a diverse group of people.
Experience of working within a busy reception role
Experience of working within a recovery focused organisation
Experience of creating a welcoming atmosphere and signposting people accessing services.
Experience of liaising with a variety of support services including police and ambulance teams.
Proficiency in the use of ICT applications/packages including Microsoft Office 365 packages.
Interviews will take place face to face, date and location to be confirmed - Please note: we will be holding interviews between the hours of 18:00 – 21:00
