Partner with the best
The General Operator is responsible for completing and monitoring all required tasks as directed by the Lead Operator, working as part of a team. The Operator will assist in the day to day running of the process under the direction of the Lead Operator or Shift Lead performing any reasonable task which is asked of them.
As a General Operator, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring company policies, procedures and operating instructions are followed- Complying with all safety instructions, promoting individual and team safety
- Promoting and maintaining Quality standards
- Participating in Risk Assessments
- Supporting the SOI audit process to ensure they remain compliant with best practice
- Identifying and reporting all Safety concerns, Quality issues and manufacturing problems before progressing any work
- Reporting directly to the Lead Operator assisting in the set up and operation of equipment and machines
- Performing all required tasks in accordance with standard operation instructions, risk assessments and company safety policies
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a mechanical aptitude and proven experience in a mechanical/manufacturing environment- Have experience in pressure testing, flushing, pigging, bolt tensioning / torqueing
- Have experience in using hand and power tools
- Have a working knowledge of manufacturing process
- Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manufacturing work orders, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Have a working knowledge of Windows software, including specific ability in the advanced use of Excel spread sheets
