We have a unique opportunity to join a Global Leading Manufacturing company, with manufacturing positions available in Newcastle.

Position: Manufacturing Operatives
Company: Engineering Manufacturing Company
Location: Newcastle
Duration: 6 months with chance of extension/ becoming permanent
Pay: £17.24 per hour plus holiday pay
We have 10 positions available with a leading international manufacturing company in the Energy Sector. This is to support a significant increase in new orders our client have secured, providing a good opportunity for the initial 6 month term to be extended.
We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working within a fast paced manufacturing / production environment, and prepared to work a continental shift pattern - details below:
Continental Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Dayshift Mon-Tue & Fri/Say/Sun
Week 2: Dayshift Wed & Thurs
Week 3 and Week 4: same working days as Week 1 and 2 but nightshift as opposed to days
Responsibilities / skills required:
- To Ensure any tooling/equipment used on shop floor is returned to required location once finished with
- To carry out duties in-line with required company 5S standards (visual display/tidiness)
- Ability to operate hand power tools
- To carry any duties requested by on shift supervisor/ lead operator to support assembly and testing operations
- To carry out duties in-line with HSE regulations
Desired characteristics:
- Experience in manufacturing
- Lifting/Slinging OR Crane Operations
- HSE foundations
- 5S/Lean
- Quality Management Systems
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £17.24-£19.00 per hour

- Day shift
