Do you want to work as PRODUCTION OPERATOR at Vista Optics?
We have an excellent opportunity for a PRODUCTION OPERATOR at Vista Optics, a well-established company based in Widnes. The job role will be based within the production department, reporting to the Production Lead. Full training will be given to the successful applicant to ensure the product is ready for dispatch in line with current procedure, including the accurate generation of all necessary labels and documentation.
We are offering a full-time (37.5 hours), permanent contract based on a shift of Monday to Friday 07.00 – 15.00 (working hours can change due to demand) This is based on a successful probation period.
What will your main functions be?
· Working to a scheduled production plan
· Ensuring the final products meet high-quality standards.
· Adhering to set procedures and established work instructions.
· Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
· Ensuring the customer and company’s quality standards are met.
· Assist in non-conformance investigations.
· Reporting any issues relating to product and its dispatch.
Are you the person we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements and skills:
· Experience in a production environment and quality aware
· Accustomed to carry out repetitive manual tasks.
· Excellent housekeeping of the work area and organisation skills.
· Punctual, reliable and attention to detail.
· Good written and spoken communication skills.
· Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
· Ability to work with detailed information in a structured fashion.
· With Initiative, can-do attitude and open to changing priorities.
· Ability to work under pressure and Excellent problem-solving skills
· Flexible and able to work in team and individually
Additionally, we will positively value:
· Experience working in a regulated industry, e.g. Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or food industry
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Willingness to learn new skills.
