About us
Packhorse Ltd is a small business in Fengate, PE1 5EL. We are innovative and challenging.
At Packhorse Ltd we specialise in the custom design and manufacture of flight cases supplying into the music, theatre, motorsport and scientific industries to name just a few.
We are looking for additional operatives to support our team in our assembly and our woodworking department.
Duties to include:-
- Cleaning, sanding, routing, filling and assembling plywood panels
- Prepping and organising cut materials from our CNC machine
- Paint - Spraying or rolling as required
- Prepping materials for the assembly of flight cases
- Assembling flight case components
- Preparing final product for despatch
Additional duties to include:-
- Assisting with deliveries and stock
- Maintain and clean all areas
Skills required:-
- Experience of hand held tools i.e riveters, drills, staple guns, grinders etc
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- Work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to work as part of a team or own your own
- Flexible approach due to variety of daily tasks
- Forklift experience an advantage although not necessary
Mon - Thurs 7.30am-5pm, Fri 7.30am-3pm.
Holiday entitlement 28 days per annum including bank holidays.
