Are you passionate about beauty products? Can you follow a recipe or formula? Are you also looking for something a bit different?

Then this just might be the role you have been looking for!

The job involves making all of our lovely cosmetics by hand, so you need to be able to weigh and measure ingredients, follow a recipe exactly, clean as you go as well as following health and safety protocols.

We manufacture a range of products, including shower gel, moisturiser, lip balms, micellar water and toners. You will be involved in the making of all of these plus many others. You will also be involved in filling, labelling and packing of the products.

Attention to detail and precision working is a vital aspect of this role (applying labels is much trickier than you might think!) You must be a fast learner who works to a professional standard using your own initaitive. We want to see a get-up and go attitude and welcome your ideas for new products.

The successful candidate will be able to work methodically at an efficient pace whilst maintaining a high level of quality in the work being carried out. We will provide training in our processes to the candidate who can bring the right attitude, mindset, experience and skills.

What we are looking for -

Qualifications and experience:

Experience following a recipe or formula to create a quality end-product. Applicants with relevant similar experience will also be considered.

You will need to understand the key concepts of Good Manufacturing Practice or be willing to learn and implement these.

Responsibilities:

Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in all aspects of making our products.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about all aspects of ethical cosmetic manufacturing.

Essential requirements:

o passionate about skincare products and the science surrounding how they are made.

o motivated to achive results with the ambition to help push the company forward.

o Committed to providing attention to detail and a high quality of work.

o You must be enthusiastic about the role, with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn.

o Can think for themselves by identifying problems and providing solutions.

o Confidence in working alone and willing to oversee the main aspects of manufacturing when required.

Desired/Preferred (but can be taught on the job to the right candidate):

o Experience operating filling machines.

o Product labelling.

o Possess knowledge of GMP environment and good administrative/housekeeping qualities.

Main duties will include (but are not limited to):

o Manufacturing a variety products including liquids, creams and gels.

o Filling, capping and labelling of manufactured cosmetic products.

o Packaging of products for delivery to customers.

Salary: £10.42 per hour
