Job description

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.

Business Consultant – National Security at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence

Are you looking for a consulting role that really makes a difference?

We are proud of the work we do in National Security and the difference we make to the safety and prosperity of the UK.

We are growing rapidly and are looking for experienced business consultants to join our teams.

Consulting in National Security

Our consultants support our customers in implementing change throughout the lifecycle of their most challenging projects; from business justification and strategy development through to design, planning and implementation.

Building trusted relationships is at the heart of what we do: we collaborate closely with our customers to fully understand their business objectives and challenges. We identify risks, areas for improvement and opportunities, and provide strategic advice in an objective manner, delivering innovative solutions to help our customers through complex strategic challenges.

If you have experience of assisting customers in articulating and achieving their strategic goals, we would love to hear from you.

Experience in the digital, technology, and/or cyber domains would be great, but is not essential.

Other helpful skills and knowledge include designing and implementing new business structures, developing business cases, and providing regulatory and policy advice. Experience in briefing, providing advice, and developing trusted relationships with public sector customers, and an

understanding of the organisational landscape of UK government agencies would also be helpful.

The only way BAE Systems DI grows is by having people who are constantly progressing. Our Consulting Development Framework supports what is expected of our consultants, and all competencies are designed to support performance and career development. This framework enables our people to make informed decisions about their strengths, development areas and the type of work and roles that will enable them to build their career successfully. This information leads to a sense of autonomy, which is critical to the progression of our consultants. If you currently have process mapping or business change skills, and aspire to gain experience and expertise in digital transformation and strategy development, we will support you in realising your career aspirations.

Please note that it is essential that you currently hold or are eligible to hold high level UK security clearance.

You can read more about UK clearance and vetting here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/security-vetting-and-clearance
