Smart Manufacturing Lead
We are currently seeking a Smart Manufacturing Lead to join our team here at GSK Montrose. The Smart Manufacturing Lead will develop and communicate the Smart Manufacturing ambition for the site aligned with the company strategy. You will be required to provide leadership to site Smart Manufacturing program and deliver improvement projects aligned to the site goals. The Smart Manufacturing Lead will build and drive improvements in digital capability across site.
In this role you will
Set & prioritise Smart Manufacturing plan for the site
Partner with site leaders to development and deliver the Smart Manufacturing strategy (including business as usual BAU), programme, projects and capability across the site
Partner with subject matter experts (internal & external) to develop technical/business requirements, STP's, Project Charters and PIP's for digital solutions
Maintain budgetary control of the projects and programme
Provide regular, up-to date reporting on status and progress of projects tailored for senior stakeholders
Monitor and respond to risks/issues at the project and programme level to ensure on time and in budget delivery
Enable collaborative engagement and integration of activity across multiple teams on site including Production, Quality, Engineering, GPS, Tech, Logistics and Technical
Partner with GSK central functions including GPS, ENG, Tech and Finance to ensure alignment, prioritisation and support of site the Smart Manufacturing programme
Maintain regular connection with other sites to contribute, share and leverage best practice
Coach, mentor and train Smart Manufacturing tools and principles to develop the skills and capability of site personnel

Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT or significant demonstrable work experience
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and drive change programs/improvements and influence key stakeholders
Proven track record of delivery of quantifiable business improvement
Proven collaboration, influencing and leadership skills
Ability to document and clearly articulate rationale for the selection and prioritisation of projects aligned to business improvement objectives
Good understanding of Networking and Information Technology hardware as they relate to data science
Knowledge of capital approval process
Knowledge and understanding of Cyber protection and data privacy concepts, automation and automated process control systems
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience of influencing others within a matrix organisation.
