The Role of a Machine Operator (ALL TRAINING PROVIDED)
- Cut fabric.
- Use of a variety of tools
- Upholster
- Woodwork
- Learn creating designs from concepts.
- Fabrication
- Sewing (Hand and Machine)
- Read drawings.
- Fit media and Lighting
- Operate machinery.
- Use of a variety of materials
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Follows procedures for specific jobs
- Complete tasks and target as directed by production schedules
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Must be familiar with the basic machine function to perform the tasks stated above
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
The Machine Operator:
- Will pay attention to detail
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Will be willing to learn and train
- Will have good time keeping
- Will have experience in production / warehouse
- Will be able to stand for a long period of time
