Supporting the Engineering team in a real lean manufacturing environment, a Graduate Engineer at Faurecia will gain great exposure into the Automotive environment.
The Graduate Engineer will be involved in the design, specification, follow-up and implementation of the production tools, in line with planning, quality (including industry standards) and cost targets. The main missions of this role are to:
- Support the Engineering team with launch of new products/processes.
- Support the Engineering team to design shop floor layout and process flow as part of innovation and improvements
- Assist with process definition and ensuring release of tools definition in appropriate Product Data Management (PDM) System
- Support raw material optimisation, propose and implement product and process improvements to fulfil geometric requirements and assist new product introduction and industrialisation.
- Apply Group standards under the Faurecia Excellence System (FES), as well as other internal and industry standards.
- Full involvement in any project work set by Managers.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Completed a year long industrial placement in a related industry
- Bachelor degree in Engineering at 2.1 or above
- Completed degree within last 3 year period
- International mind set
