Job Title: Electrical Technician - Manufacturing

Location: Templecombe

Hours: 4 day week Monday-Thursday / 37 hours per week

Due to demand we’re looking for experienced Technicians to join our Maritime Mission Systems business unit in Templecombe. With experience in wiring, and building electrical assemblies you’ll be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings to the required quality.

The roles are based out of our Templecombe manufacturing site. You will work a 4 day week Monday to Thursday and work 9.25 hours per day. Start time is flexible between 6:00am and 7:30am and you get 30 minutes unpaid for lunch. There is also free on-site parking and an on-site canteen.

Key duties:

• Produce on time and to quality manufacture of Electrical assemblies

• Escalating blockers and issues to team Leader

• Escalating Health and safety issues to team Leader

• Ensuring 5S standards are met

• Ensuring any quality non-conformances are logged and escalated to the Inspector or Quality rep

• Ensure all incidents are logged correctly and escalated to H&S leaders as appropriate

Experience:

• Experience in wiring

• Experience building electrical assemblies

• The ability to interpret drawings and wiring diagrams

• Eligible to obtain full SC clearance at UK eyes only

In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
