Siemens Healthineers has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative process engineering team. This full-time Manufacturing Engineer role is based in Oxford, Berkshire, and comes with a favourable salary and benefits.
As part of our long-term business strategy, we are currently planning to build a new world-class purpose-built facility in Oxfordshire to support our future highly innovative products. We are looking for Manufacturing Engineers, working to collaboratively manage quality, productivity and output, your tasks and responsibilities will be solving manufacturing problems through engineering principles and methods to resolve internal and external process issues and maintain our zero-harm culture.
In your first few weeks in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Manage projects to develop productivity by applying CI through engineering change and capital/value stream projects
- Collaborate within NPI, owning and addressing varied manufacturing and process problems both internally and externally within the extended supply chain
- Develop and implement new processes and manufacturing equipment with a digital context to enable our world-leading new products and best-in-class continuous improvement
To apply for this role, you should have passion, expertise and professional qualifications. You'll also require:
- A degree in Engineering, Science, manufacturing (or a related subject) or extensive equivalent experience and technical experience in manufacturing/process engineering
- Proven problem-solving skills demonstrating ownership and structured thinking capabilities
- Inclusive communication skills, as you will be required to communicate at all levels
