Main aims of the job
· To assist the Chef to provide Meals and Snacks to the residents
· To assist to keep the kitchen clean and tidy
· To be aware of the special diets that may be required
Reports to
· Head Chef, Senior Carer on Duty, Registered Manager, Provider
Key Responsibilities
· To help prepare/serve meals at the direction of the head chef
· 2 Days per week be the main cook on shift
· To prepare and present food at various IDDSI levels
· DESIREABLE: Experience of piping foods into representative shapes
· To load the dishwasher and/or wash-up by hand when required
· To assist to put away any supplies delivered to the Home
· To assist with catering/serving at special events and celebrations
Job Hours
- Alternate weekends off
- Shifts are either 7am to 2pm or 9am to 6pm
- 5 days across 7 days
- 40 hours per week
