As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Observe, analyze and optimize current work methods/ processes.
- Identify building sequence for product.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency / ease up building process.
- Identify bottle necks and improve process flow using line balancing.
- Analyze data to establish process standard times considering personal, fatigue, and delay.
- Use math tools to ensure time-motion studies are an actual representation of assembly process.
- Utilizes data to develop cost and time saving recommendations and modifications to product design, line staffing, and assembly layout.
- Develop standard work instructions to be used as training guidelines for new employees.
- Communicate methods and results to management and associates.
- Improve safety for all personnel that work in and around production lines.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
You will make impact if you have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Industrial Engineering skills: standard time, time studies, motion analysis, standard work, line balance, ergonomics …
- Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Experience in creating work instructions / standard work procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
- CAD skills (Solid Works, Inventor, AutoCAD or similar).
- Basic knowledge of video editing software.
- Strong oral, written communication and time management skills
- Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Experience in SAP work environment

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.html. The pay range for this position is $58,500 - 100,400. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
