Job description
RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking candidates to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Sanford, NC. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will work with our engineering staff and our customer's staff to support the production of off-road equipment. Our customer's facility is a world-class engineering and manufacturing center.

Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
- Establish routings, methods, processes, and layouts for assembly line.
- Machining of components.
- Provide costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for current/new products
- Provide support and trouble shooting for current production
- Investigate, gather and analyze data and implement solutions
- Continuous improvements in cost, quality, safety and ergonomics
- Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing
- Improve material flow and material presentation
- Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Lead team studies for capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Industrial Technology
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in a production environment working with cross functional teams
- Experience with Lathes, Mills, EDM & ECM, and grinding.
- Experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and Lean Sigma Methodology.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
