Job description
Hatch Stamping Company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help facilitate manufacturing processes and improvements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Documents and improves process flow for the purposes of quoting, implementing and upgrading customer products.
· Provide technical support to the manufacturing area.
· Initiates and implements productivity process improvements.
· Writes set-up and operator instructions.
· Investigates quality concerns and documents corrective actions.
· Coordination of secondary operations projects.
· Work with the Manufacturing team to identify areas of improvements
· Apply engineering principles to improve quality and productivity.
· Facilitate training.
· Perform any tasks necessary to meet company goals and requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Engineering related degree and two years manufacturing experience
· Self-directed.
· Process experience with stampings, sub-assemblies and finished assemblies
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Knowledge and experience in statistics and statistical problem-solving.
